Magna's eDrive System
High HE
Magna's latest high-power eDrive System delivers world class attributes on efficiency, power-to-weight ratio, torque density and sustainability.
This new 800V eDrive was developed with a KPI-driven approach and can be applied as a highly efficient primary or complementary drive to battery electric vehicles from the C, D and E segments. It delivers a peak power of 250 kW and a peak axle torque of 5,000 Nm, and can include an optional eDecoupling.

- 120-150 kW primary or secondary electric drive for BEV / (P)HEV
- Optional park lock, torque vectoring, and Decoupling systems
eDrive System High
- 250 kW high-voltage electric drive system wth 93% efficiency for BEVs
- Industry-first ability to rotate around its drive axis for ease of integration
eBeam
- Heavy duty electric drive system for trucks and light commercial vehicles
- Scalable and robust for continuous-duty use with several variants and options available, including offset, coaxial, single or two speeds, locking differentials, park locks, and more

eTorque Vectoring
- Twin-Clutch eTorque Vectoring system capable of supporting up to 300 kW per axle for BEV, HEV, and PHEV
- Also available as a Duo Drive (2 E-motor) eTorque Vectoring system for applications that require more than 300 kW power per axle
eDecoupling
- Magna’s electromagnetic eDecoupling acts as a stand alone or integrated power flow decoupler for EV applications
- Enhance EV range by reducing drag torque of the e-motor and gearbox in primary and secondary eDrive systems
